Eight SMC Ladies attended a “Wild About Family & Consumer Sciences” career development event at Kansas State University on Wednesday, September 25th. They had the opportunity to tour many parts of campus and explore the majors and departments within the College of Health & Human Sciences, specifically FACS Education.
While in Manhattan, they attended Mass at St. Isidore’s Catholic Student Center where they saw the new “Mary, Shield of Peace” painting on display.
The devotion and litany to Mary Shield of Peace became public in August 2024 when Bishop Vincke of the Salina Diocese granted it his Nihil Obstat.
